Just from looking at the thumb in my messagebox, this seemed to be too gray. But the actual picture has a great deal more character and is evidence of incredible artistry. I like the originality of this; I have really never seen anything like it. It appears to be a portrait of sorts, theoretically reminiscent of =larafairie's portraits with her cat. Yet in actuality (as you may be pleased to hear) the two do not resemble each other in the least. Here you draw more intense parallels between yourself and the cat, so much so that you begin to take on feline characteristics while the cat seems nearly human. It's really fascinating. I especially love the splashes of bright color in the cat's fur; it leads me to think that you consider yourself and the cat as nearly one entity, except the beautiful animal is the sun to your shadow. The whiskers seem to offer affirmation: they stretch out like rays of light. Perhaps you view the cat as your better half, but I doubt he (she? sorry if I offend) can paint like you do.

I don't want to own anything until I find a place where me and things go together. I'm not sure where that is, but I know what it's like.

It's like Tiffany's.
